This is the First Edition (unstated) with a $1.75 price printed in the upper right corner of the front dust jacket flap. This book was in print for many years and several different prices can be found on the dust jackets. I have seen several different priced Crowell copies listed by sellers as First Editions, but this is the original price. This price is listed in Horn Book Magazine for December of 1952. The jacket lists "A Pussycat's Christmas" on the rear flap as the only ad for another title in or on the book or jacket. It also mentions that she is the author of "Where Have You Been?" and "A Pussycat's Christmas" on the front flap. It is bound in a red cloth (not paper over boards) with black stamping of the animals from the book and stars on the front cover. It has black and white pictorial end pages with animals and stars in diamond shaped boxes. The book has no visible ISBN or LCCN, any in the listing are from other early copies not this edition.
