I'm interested in getting some lists of banned books, and incorporating the banning info into some metadata fields in OL for ease of searching. Can anyone suggest good sources for such lists? I know about the ALA lists but they only go back a couple decades and are often "top 10" or "top 100", while I'm looking for something more exhaustive and that goes further back in history, including (say) the works of Galileo that were considered heresy in the 1600's, includes non-U.S. works, etc. |
